Join us on 7 October, as part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park’s Cheese Festival, on a small group guided walk to explore classic Wensleydale countryside and visit the fantastic Curlew Dairy in Wensley, where they make the only raw milk Wensleydale cheese in Wensleydale!

The walk will offer great views over Wensleydale from the outset and take you through the traditional dairy farming landscape that has been producing Wensleydale’s rich milk - the vital component that gives the cheese its unique flavour - for generations. As well as enjoying the scenery and learning more about the area, you will visit Curlew Dairy’s ‘micro-dairy’, where you can learn about this young family’s successful business, how they hand-produce the cheese in small batches and what gives it its unique flavour and texture, which has seen them supplying many of the best cheesemongers up and down the country.

You will also get to sample the finished product straight from the dairy!
